ICClone
a memory transfer utility for ICOM radios
Download
ICloneSetup.exe version 1.3 by clicking here. If the
file tries to execute rather than download, right click the link and choose
"Save as". After the download, double click it to install.
Everything seems to work OK, but I don't guarantee it. Please try it in the
READ mode first, save that file if it looks OK, so that if the WRITE fails
you have a record of what your memories used to contain.
Instructions for use are below. Please read them all.
Click here to see a list of supported
radios, and functions.

How to use
-
If this is your first time, set the serial parameters, and
your radio's address, then click the Initialize.Led. Once all the
parms are set, the read and write icons will be enabled.
-
Click the Read icon to read your memories into the grid.
ICClone will cycle through all the memories, so don't terminate it early.
-
To load
the memories from the file/grid into the radio, click the Write icon.
-
You can type over entries in the grid, and re-order them by
drag-n-drop. Click on a row to select it (it will turn black), then click
(and hold down) the left mouse button on the little square at the left end
of the row. The cursor will change to a flag. Drag the row to the position
you want, and release the mouse button.
-
Clicking the Renumber icon will consecutively
re-number all the memory channel numbers. If you had gaps, they will be
gone.
-
You can save the list to a file. This also saves the serial
and radio setings settings.
-
To load a previously saved file,
Click File/Open and select the appropriate
.ini file. There's a demo ini file with "typical" settings.
Loading an .ini file automagically initializes the serial port and the
radio.
-
There are
two save options, "Save" and "Save as". Save will replace the current file with the screen contents, and
Save as creates a new file with a different file name.
-
To enable logging the
commands sent and received for diagnostic purposes, click
File menu and select
Log for debug.
